Over the past year, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) journey has been guided by a simple but powerful belief: sustainable impact is created when businesses invest not only in economic growth but also in people. Through strategic partnerships with organizations making a tangible difference in their communities, we supported initiatives that expanded access to education, improved healthcare outcomes, empowered vulnerable groups, promoted dignity, and created opportunities for rehabilitation and inclusion.
As we reflect on the year, we are proud to look back on five impactful initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to creating value beyond business.
Investing in Education, One Library at a Time
Every child deserves access to an environment that inspires learning and unlocks potential.
In partnership with Yeshua's Arm, we committed ₦5 million towards the development of a new library at St. Michael School, Epe, Lagos. Once completed, the library will provide more than 400 students with access to over 1,000 books, creating a learning environment that encourages literacy, independent thinking, and academic excellence.
More than a building, the library represents opportunity, a place where curiosity is nurtured, dreams are shaped, and futures begin.
Giving Hope Through Healthcare
Access to healthcare should never be determined by financial circumstances.
Recognizing the challenges many cancer patients face in accessing timely treatment, we partnered with the Win Cancer Foundation, contributing ₦10 million to support individuals requiring medication, treatment, and life-saving surgeries.
The initiative provided more than financial assistance. It offered hope, reassurance, and the opportunity for beneficiaries to continue their treatment journey with renewed confidence.
Honouring Those Who Came Before Us
The wellbeing of our elderly is a reflection of the values we uphold as a society.
To support this cause, we partnered with the Centre for Happy Elderly People, contributing ₦7.5 million towards infrastructure improvements, safety enhancements, and facility upgrades that improve the quality of life for elderly residents.
Every contribution made was an investment in dignity, comfort, and compassionate care for those who have spent decades contributing to their families and communities.
Creating Pathways to Economic Independence
Empowerment is most meaningful when it creates opportunities that endure.
Through our partnership with the CBA Foundation, we supported widows with financial assistance to establish or grow small businesses while also equipping them with practical financial literacy skills.
By combining access to capital with knowledge in budgeting, savings, business management, and financial planning, the initiative sought to build confidence, strengthen livelihoods, and promote long-term economic resilience.
Supporting Rehabilitation Through Skills Development
Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, rebuild, and create a better future.
In collaboration with House on the Rock, we supported the renovation of part of a tailoring institute within a correctional facility, creating an improved environment for vocational training.
The project equips inmates with practical skills that encourage self-reliance and increase their chances of successful reintegration into society. It serves as a reminder that rehabilitation is most effective when people are given the tools and opportunities to rewrite their stories.
More Than Individual Projects
While each initiative addressed a unique societal challenge, together they reflected something much greater.
They represented our belief that meaningful impact is achieved through collaboration, intentional investment, and a genuine commitment to improving lives. Whether creating better learning environments for children, helping patients access critical healthcare, supporting elderly citizens, empowering widows to achieve financial independence, or creating second chances through vocational training, every project was driven by the same purpose: to create opportunities where they matter most.
